Dr. George Bediako Nketiah is a trainer with the Ghana College of Physicians and currently serves as the Acting Head of the Korle-Bu Polyclinic/Family Medicine Department. He is also the Chief Medical Officer of GAB Health Insurance and has over a decade experience in health insurance, claims audit, care facilitation and wellness programs.

He is a trainer in Family Medicine with both the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons (GCPS) and the West African College of Physicians (WACP), where he actively contributes to postgraduate training, mentorship, and curriculum development.

Dr. Nketiah is passionate about primary care and has played a key role as a technical expert in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines for primary care. He has also led and supported various projects aimed at strengthening and empowering primary healthcare delivery.

He is the immediate past president of the Society of Family Physicians of Ghana.
