GAB Health Insurance Company LTD (“GAB Health”) is a Private Commercial Health Insurance Scheme (PCHIS) licensed by the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) to address employee health benefits programs and risk management needs for corporate institutions.
GAB Health is a private limited liability company with majority interest by the Ghana Association of Banks (GAB). GAB is the country’s leading mouthpiece for the universal banking sector, currently representing the interest of 24-member banks.

GAB Health offers affordable health benefit packages (the “GAB Health Plan”) for employees (and their dependents) of corporate institutions in the event of illness or expenses for various types of medical care and treatment. GAB Health targets employers that seek to balance the control their employee health benefits costs and improvement in health outcomes with its attendant positive effect on productivity. Our focus is to improve the quality-of-care experience for beneficiaries at the most cost-efficient manner.
