Mr. Abenney-Yeboah is an accomplished finance and insurance executive with over a decade of leadership experience spanning health insurance, general insurance, audit practice, tax advisory, corporate structuring and financial management. As the Managing Director, he leads GAB Health’s strategic growth, product innovation, risk management and operational excellence.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Abenney-Yeboah was the Chief Finance Officer of GAB Health Insurance and was instrumental in establishing the Finance Department of the Company as well as providing strategic direction for financial operations, regulatory compliance, and financial governance. His earlier experience includes executive leadership role at SUNU Assurances Ghana LTD (formerly Equity Assurance), where he held senior finance roles — including Chief Finance Officer and Head of Accounts.

Mr. Abenney-Yeboah holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting & Finance from the University of Northampton, UK and a Diploma in Applied Insurance from the Malta Insurance Institute. He is a Chartered Accountant, Chartered Tax Practitioner, and a member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants-Ghana and the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ghana.
