Mr. Frank Brako Adu Jr. is a distinguished leader in Ghana’s financial and corporate landscape, recognised for his exceptional contributions to banking and governance. With over three decades of experience, he served as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of CAL Bank PLC for 20 years, providing strategic direction that positioned the bank as one of Ghana’s leading financial institutions.

Beyond banking, Mr. Adu continues to shape Ghana’s corporate and educational landscape, having chaired and served on boards spanning finance, health, education, insurance, oil and gas, payment systems, fintech companies, and hospitality. He is the Co-Founder and Chairman of The Roman Ridge School, a leading institution reflecting his commitment to quality education and youth development, and previously chaired the National Health Insurance Council, the Ghana Stock Exchange, and the Golden Beach Hotels Limited. His dedication was recognised with an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Ghana in 2013 and Honorary Membership from the Ghana Institute of Architects in 2021.

He has also shown exemplary leadership in sports administration as President of the Achimota Golf Club and former Captain and President of the Accra Polo Club. His achievements include being appointed First Chancellor of the Accra University College of Communication and Business (AUCB) in 2025 and being named Africa Banker of the Year by The Africa Leadership Magazine in 2018. Mr. Adu’s career reflects leadership, innovation, and a deep commitment to advancing excellence and social impact across multiple sectors. He contributes to the GAB Health as a Director and as a member of the Finance, Audit and Risk Management Committee (FARIMAC).
